The Woman’s Club of South Pasadena held a large community rummage sale on Saturday as many community members walked away with bargains.
The community rummage sale offered South Pasadena residents and surrounding areas the fun of yard sale shopping without driving to individual sales.
New, old and vintage items of all kinds, and for all ages, were available for shoppers looking for a discount.
Individuals, purchasing space from the Woman’s Club, brought hundreds of items to the sale with proceeds supporting charitable projects and services of the Woman’s Club.
The Woman’s Club, founded in 1899, is an active philanthropic organization and is celebrating it’s 115th anniversary this year.
Philanthropy projects hosted by the club each year include preparing handmade items for convalescent patients and hospitalized children, distributing cookies to homeless and hospitalized veterans, preparing gift boxes for foster children, and awarding scholarships to high school seniors.
